The present writ petition has been filed seeking to challenge the letter of debarment issued by the first respondent Port Trust authority on 04.12.2023 wherein the petitioner firm has been blacklisted for a period of two years.

2.The period of blacklisting had expired in the year 2025. However, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner apprehends that the petitioner firm may not be permitted to participate in the future contract. 3.Since the matter has not been adjudicated on merits, it is clear that this will not be an impediment for the petitioner firm in participating in the future contracts.
