(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) This Writ Petition has been instituted to direct the respondents to conduct Jallikattu in Avaniyapuram, Madurai District on 15.01.2023 to 17.01.2023 or any other date under the administration of the respondents 1 and 2. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner mainly contended that few persons in the name of Sangam are causing obstructions for conducting 2/4

Jallikattu event in a peaceful manner. More so, such persons are claiming right to conduct event and already approached the competent civil Court of law seeking for relief.

3.May that as it be, for the past three years, the District Administration is conducting Jallikattu event in a peaceful manner. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 4 states that the respondents 1 and 2 are conducting Jallikattu event by following the rules.

5.That being the factum, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to conduct Jallikattu event as per the rules and in a peaceful manner for the ensuing years. 6.With this direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
