ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a minor son of a deceased employee of the respondent Transport Corporation.

2. The petitioner's father who was employed as a Driver in the respondent corporation had passed away on 11.10.2022 in an accident. His terminal benefits were released only on 30.05.2023. A representation has been sent on 29.06.2023 seeking interest for the belated disbursement. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to pay 6% interest from the due date till the date on which amounts were disbursed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
