ORDER

The petitioner seeks the transfer of the investigation in Crime No. 148 of 2025 from the file of the third respondent to another investigating officer not below the rank of DSP and to file the final report before the concerned Court within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Though several grounds were raised by the petitioner for transfer of the investigation, this Court is of the view that, since the FIR was registered on 18.06.2025, the respondent police ought to be given sufficient time to conduct the investigation and the respondent police cannot be directed to act in a particular manner. 3.At this stage, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that to ensure 2/4

fairness, the investigation may be transferred to the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Tiruchendur.

4.In light of the above submission, the investigation is transferred to Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Tiruchendur, who shall conduct the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
