ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai to expedite the trial pending before the learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai in S.C.No.34 of 2020 and conclude the same within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. Online status of the case hearing shows that the case is kept pending without fixing any date for the trial by the learned IV Additional District Judge, Madurai.

4. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the learned IV Additional District Judge, Madurai, to fix the trial and complete the same within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. 21.12.2023 NCC :
