PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pass orders on the proceedings of the respondent in A6/1131/2023, dated 15.11.2023 pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 26.10.2023 within the time frame as fixed by this Court. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to direct the respondent to dispose of the proceedings dated 15.11.2023 within a time frame. 2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has made a submission that the Community Certificate produced by the petitioner has been found to be genuine and the respondent has addressed a letter dated 06.12.2023 to the District Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Officer, Nagercoil. Therefore, the petitioner has to collect the Community Certificate from the District Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Officer, Nagercoil and in the event of producing the said certificate to the respondent, the respondent will be in a position to dispose of the proceedings initiated against the writ petitioner on 15.11.2023. 3.

In view of the said submission, the petitioner is at liberty to secure the certificate from the District Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Officer, Nagercoil and produce the same before the respondent for passing final orders. On such production the respondent shall pass orders in the proceedings dated 15.11.2023 without causing any undue delay.

4.With the above observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
