Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. It is admitted by the authorities that the petition-mentioned survey numbers have been classified as water bodies. It appears that the private parties have used the said water body for doing cultivation.

3. We grant four months time to the authorities to have the encroachment removed. It is the duty of the authorities to ensure that the said encroachment does not recur ever again in future. The water body must be restored to its original condition also. This writ petition stands allowed on these terms. No costs.
