This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 10.11.2023 passed in W.P(MD)No.26596 of 2023. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.In view of the order rejecting the request for ordinary leave passed by the Deputy Inspector General of Prison and Correctional Services, on 30.11.2023 in compliance to the direction of this Court, nothing survives for adjudication in this contempt petition.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents also stated that, against the rejection order dated 30.11.2023, the detenue has filed writ petition in W.P(MD)No.1251 of 2024. 5.Recording the aforesaid submission, this Contempt Petition is closed.
