ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by an aspirant to the post of Village Assistant seeking a Mandamus as against the 2nd respondent to approve his appointment.

2. A perusal of the typedset of papers indicate that the petitioner had appeared for an interview on 29.01.2021 for being appointed as a Village Secretary in Nagalapuram Village Panchayat. According to the petitioner, he was selected and his name has been recommended for being approved by the 2nd and 3rd respondents herein. Since orders have not been passed by the 2nd and 3rd respondents, appointment orders are yet to be issued.

3. Considering the above said facts, the 2nd and 3rd respondents are directed to verify if they have received any such papers from the 4th respondent relating to the appointment of the writ petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
