O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to pay 12% interest for the withheld dearness allowance to the tune of Rs.3,71,396/- from 31.05.2023 to 17.06.2025 and subsequent interest till the date of the settlement in the light of petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2025 within the time limit fixed by this court.

2. Even though the petitioner has sought for a positive Mandamus, it is seen that the petitioner has made a representation on 04.08.2025 for the very same relief.

3. In view of the same, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
