O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to pay interest of Rs.5,97,943/-, at the rate of 10% per annum towards delayed payment of terminal benefits and accrued interest thereafter for period from 26.08.2025 to the date of actual payment.

2. Considering the admitted fact that there has been a delay in payment, the petitioner is entitled to statutory interest as provided under law.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would restrict his claim of interest at the rate of 6% per annum.

4. In view of the same, the writ petition stands disposed of. The respondents are directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum on the belated terminal benefits payable to the petitioner from the date of his 2/4
