ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that pursuant to the representation given by the petitioner, an enquiry is going on and the same would be completed within six weeks.

3. In view of the above said submission, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to conduct the enquiry and consider the representation of the petitioner, after giving notice to the petitioner and the private respondents, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Thereafter, the respondent police shall communicate the result of the enquiry to the petitioner. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any action of the respondent police, he may seek appropriate remedy in the manner known to law.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
