Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose of the proceedings pending before them in Na.Ka. 3469/2022 based on the representation dated on 25.07.2021 and recent representation dated 09.11.2022 to rectify the error occurred under UDR scheme in respect of properties comprised in Old SR.Nos.122/2, 122/38, 122/51 New SR.Nos. 122/2,7,8, 430/4,5,8,12 and to issue patta for enabling the petitioners to get compensation in land acquisition proceeding.

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioners allege that an UDR error has to be corrected. The first respondent is the authority competent to do so. It is stated that the second respondent is conducting enquiry into the petitioners' representation.

3.The second respondent is directed to conclude enquiry within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and submit report to the first respondent. The first respondent is directed to pass an appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks thereafter. The respondents are requested to adhere to the time limit. I am saying so because the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioners' houses are to be demolished shortly by the highways authority. The payment of compensation depends on the outcome of the present proceedings. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
