ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner was granted permission to remove gravel sand from his patta land in the year 2019. The permitted quantity was 1300 units. However, the petitioner was able to remove only 300 units on account of on the onset of Covid pandemic. The petitioner therefore gave a fresh request for removal of gravel sand from his patta land. It is stated by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that inspection was conducted by the District Revenue Officer as well as the Tahsildar. 2/4

3.The fourth respondent is directed to pass an appropriate order in the petitioner's request. This shall be done within a period of eight week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I hope that the petitioner's application will be favourably considered for two reasons: a) The petitioner seeks permission only in respect of his private patta land.

b) He was already granted permission and he was not able to utilise it fully.

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
