Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's petition dated 15.12.2020 for modification of revenue records in order to remove the names of Perumal Gounder, S/o.Thavaya Gounder and Chinnathambi, S/o. Perumal Gounder in patta No.1136 with respect of the property comprised in Survey No.140/8, situated at Bodikamanvadi village, Athoor taluk, Dindigul district and further directing the 2nd respondent to restore patta in the petitioners grandfather viz., Perumal Gounder's name by considering his representation dated 15.12.2020. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3. 2.The second respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The second respondent shall put the interested persons, if any, including the private respondents herein on notice before passing final order. It is open to the second respondent to pass order one way or the other. 3.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
