ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petition mentioned land had been classified as pathway in the town survey register. According to the petitioner, it is her patta land. The petitioner applied to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai in this regard. After conducting enquiry, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai vide proceedings bearing %.K.vz;.5550/2020/gp dated 03.12.2020 directed effecting appropriate mutation in the town survey register and also for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner. This has been complied with. Patta was also issued in favour of the petitioner. But then in the online town survey register and in FMB, corresponding changes have not been effected. It is stated by the learned counsel for the 2/4

petitioner that it is the District Collector and District Revenue Officer who have to make necessary changes.

3.The respondents 1 and 2 are directed to update the online town survey register and FMB in terms of the petition mentioned proposal sent by the third respondent. This shall be done as expeditiously as possible. 4.This writ petition is allowed accordingly.
