Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the official respondents and the learned counsel for TANGEDCO. Issuance of notice to R8 is dispensed with. 2/4

2. The petition mentioned channel admittedly runs through the patta lands. The revenue officials are present in person and they confirm that there is no encroachment in the said water channel and that free flow of water is not being blocked.
