No.454/1A2C measuring to an extent of 2.800 cents equivalent to 113.344 sq. mts situated at Iraviputhur Village, Agastheeswaram taluk, Kanyakumari District.

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.Sale deed dated 13.09.2025 was executed by the writ petitioner in favour of the second respondent. The document was refused registration by invoking Section 22-A of the Registration Act. Challenging the impugned refusal check slip, this writ petition has been filed.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner states that he had obtained instructions from the second respondent also.

4.The second respondent through the writ petitioner's counsel states that he will use the land purchased land only as an agricultural 2/4

land. If he wants to convert the usage or wants to develop the same, he will do the same only after getting approval and permission from the competent authority.

5.Recording the said undertaking from the second respondent through the petitioner's counsel, the impugned refusal check slip is quashed. The first respondent is directed to register the document and release it subject to fulfilment of the other usual formalities. This writ petition stands allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
