Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's complaint dated 22.07.2025 and to conclude the enquiry within a time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner has sought for direction to the respondents to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's complaint dated 22.07.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, an enquiry is pending only to ascertain whether any cognizable offence is made out and that the same would be concluded within a period of two weeks.

3. In view of the above said submission, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the enquiry, after giving notice to the petitioner and the counter parties, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Thereafter, the respondent police shall communicate the result of the enquiry to the petitioner. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any action of the respondent police, he may seek appropriate remedy in the manner known to law.
