Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the fourth respondent dated 08.09.2025 under Reference Ka.En.Oo.Po/Paki/P.P.Savadi/ Va.Aa/Ko.Pudur Manu/A.En.483/25 and quash the same as illegal and arbitrary and subsequently direct the respondents to convert the temporary electricity connection bearing No.05-046-004-2257 to permanent domestic electricity connection for the petitioner's house property comprised in Survey No.108/2 measuring to an extent of 558.625 sq.ft situated at Ponmeni Village, Madurai South Taluk, Arasaradi Sub Division, Madurai District, withing a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Challenging the impugned order passed by the fourth respondent dated 08.09.2025 under Reference Ka.En.Oo.Po/Paki/P.P.Savadi/ Va.Aa/Ko.Pudur Manu/A.En.483/25, this writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Deenadhayalan, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, would submit that if the petitioner submits an undertaking affidavit that she will not put up construction over and above the existing HTE line, the request of the petitioner would be considered.

4. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to submit aforesaid undertaking affidavit and on receipt of the same, the respondents shall proceed to convert the temporary electricity connection into the permanent one relating to electricity connection bearing No.

05-046-004-2257. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the undertaking to be submitted by the petitioner. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 14.10.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Rmk
