PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct Survey and boundary demarcation of petitioner's land in Survey No.169/1A situated at Sivayam North Village, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District on the basis of the petitioner's application dated 04.02.2025 within a time frame that may be stipulated by this court.

ORDER

By relying on sale deed dated 11.12.2024(document No.5324 of 2024) and patta No.4942, the petitioner had applied for the conduct of survey of land bearing S.No.169/1A. By confirming that there is no rival title claim in relation to the said land, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application has not been acted upon in spite of the lapse of several months. 2.Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He submits that a survey would be conducted within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to conduct a survey on the land bearing S.No.169/1A after issuing notice to owners of relevant adjacent lands and considering objections, if any, from them. No costs.
