Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the Appeal of petitioner, dated 11.08.2022 by reconsidering the value of petitioner's land in Re.Sy. No.443/9B of Kulappuram Village, presently Athancode Village, by taking into account of the market value of house property bearing Door No.23/17 of Methukumbal Panchayat and also to add multiplication of 1.25 and also to grant 100 percentage solatium with 15 percentage interest per annum.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 2/5

2. The petitioner's land was acquired under the provisions of National Highways Act, 1956. The petitioner was paid compensation. The petitioner has sought enhancement. The first respondent has to pass order.

3. The first respondent is directed to pass a award on the petitioner's application within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
