Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to dispose the appeal in O.Mu.(A3)/8800/2025 dated 08.09.2025 with regard to cancel the patta No.6695 in S.F.798A/1D2 extent of 4 cents and in S.F.No.798A/1E2E1 extent of 95 cents made in favour of the respondents 6 and 7 and consequently, retain the same to the petitioner's patta No.1360 and as such thereby rectified the forged correction made in field Measurement Book (FMB) in S.F.No.798A in favour of the respondents 4 to 7 of Uthayathoor Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court.

After filing an appeal on 25.08.2025 seeking cancellation of patta No.6695 in favour of the sixth and seventh respondents, the petitioner seeks the early disposal of such appeal.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3. He submits that the second respondent would consider and dispose 2/4

of the appeal within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the private respondents herein.

3. In view of the above submissions of learned Government Advocate, it is not necessary to issue notice to the private respondents in this Writ Petition. Instead, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal on merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the private respondents herein.
