By relying on sale deed dated 30.12.2022 and the adangal extract in the name of the petitioner's vendor, the petitioner had applied for issuance of Patta. The present petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. On the basis of written instructions, he submits that proceedings for reclassification on the basis of G.O.(Ms) No.221 are pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer and that orders would be issued on merits.

3. In view of the above submissions, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's request and issue a speaking order thereon within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. No costs.
