ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second Respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 15.09.2023 and conclude the enquiry in connection with C.No.122/23/INS/DCP/PDK/2023 on the file of the second Respondent.

2.When the case came up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor by way of reply submits that based on the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.Nos.19197 of 2016 and batch, the Director General of Police, Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu State, Chennai -4 had issued a circular in Rc.No. 892914/X1/2020 dated 12.03.2021 to all the Field Officers in the entire State. As per the same, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the said circular will hold good in this case also, based on the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.Nos.19197 of 2016 and batch.

3.In the light of the circular issued by the Director General of Police, Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu State, Chennai -4 in Rc.No.892914/X1/2020 dated 12.03.2021, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Respondents to act as per the said circular and pass appropriate orders within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
