The above writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 1 Respondent vide proceedings in File No. MD1075604100925, Dated 09.09.2025, Letter Ref. No. SCN/1050147017/25, Dated 23.09.2025 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 1st Respondent to issue a passport to me in File No. MD1075604100925, Dated 09.09.2025, within a period as stipulated by this Court and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the Circumstances of the case and thus render justice"

2. Today when the matter is taken up for heairng, Mr.S.Prakash, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the 2nd respondent would submit that no charges have been filed and the complaint remains only at FIR stage.

Considering the fact that there is no impediment now in the form of criminal proceedings or otherwise against the petitioner, it is open to the 1st respondent to process the petitioner's application and issue passport. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
