..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned proceedings of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.A2/1204/2023, dated 26.04.2024 quash the same as arbitrary, illegal and consequently direct the respondents to implement the earlier administrative sanction granted by the 1st respondent dated 02.08.2023 in Na.Ka.DA10/5415/2023 under the Namakku Naame Thittam for construction of a 3-metre span RCC slab culvert across the surplus channel of Annamalaiyar Kanmoi, Kirungakottai Village, Sivagangai District. 1/4

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned proceedings of the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.A2/1204/2023 dated 26.04.2024, quash the same as arbitrary and illegal, and consequently direct the respondents to implement the earlier administrative sanction granted by the first respondent in Na.Ka.DA10/5415/2023 dated 02.08.2023 under the Namakku Naame Thittam for construction of a 3metre span RCC slab culvert across the surplus channel of Annamalaiyar Kanmoi, Kirungakottai Village, Sivagangai District.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has not challenged the main order passed by the first respondent cancelling the said work. In the absence of any challenge to that order, the present writ petition is not maintainable. 2/4

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed, granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the District Collector, the first respondent, if so advised. No costs.
