PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS, directing the 2nd respondent to conduct and complete the enquiry proceedings in O.Mu.3413/2023/A4 within a stipulated period and to issue patta to the Petitioner in respect of the property in Survey No.65/16 in New Survey No.65/1 to the extent of 2 1/2 cents Eastern portion situated at Veppankulam Village, Pattukkottai Taluk, Madukur Sub Registration Circle, Thanjavur District within a stipulated period as framed by this court. 1/4

ORDER

After submitting an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer in respect of the patta issued to the 4th respondent, the petitioner seeks early disposal thereof.

2.Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3. He submits that the Revenue Divisional Officer would dispose of the petitioner's appeal on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to all parties thereto including the 4th respondent. 3.In view of the above submissions, it is unnecessary to issue notice to the 4th respondent in this writ petition. Instead, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to all parties thereto.
