O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the first respondent to re-issue the passport of the petitioner based upon his application dated 11.04.2025.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the second respondent brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has been implicated in a criminal Case in Crime No.14 of 2025 on the file of the third respondent police station, which has culminated in filing of E-charge sheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi on 31.07.2025. However, so far charge sheet has not yet been taken on file.
3. In view of the above said submissions, the petitioner is directed to approach the trial Court concerned seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case, if any such application is filed, the learned Judicial Magistrate is directed to dispose of 2/4
the same within a period of four weeks. Based upon the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.
4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
