ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A6, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 379 and 411 of IPC in Crime No.905 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 1/3

2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons were involved in theft of diesel from the lorries belonging to the Madurai Corporation. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and a false case has been foisted against him. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the accused persons were involved in theft of diesel from the lorries belonging to the Madurai Corporation, hence, he objected to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the nature of allegations levelled as against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
