Side) COMMON ORDER The petitioners were employed as Revenue Assistant in Revenue Department. The petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9321 of 2013 retired from service on 31.01.2012 and the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.10003 of 2013 was retired from service on 30.06.2009. The petitioners were called upon by the Thahsildar to hand over the patta transfer files. The said direction was not complied with by the petitioners.

Therefore, the impugned First Information Report came to be registered under Sections 166, 409 IPC. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that in Melur region the petitioners witnessed granite quarry seems of mammoth proportion. The relevant files were found missing. 3.There are prima facie materials for registering the impugned First Information Report against the petitioners. Therefore, this Court is of the view that it is not a fit case for invoking inherent powers of this Court. These Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed, accordingly. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
