ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Selection Grade Conductor of the respondent Transport Corporation, who retired under voluntary retirement scheme on 31.03.2022.

2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner's terminal benefits were released only on 26.03.2023. Seeking interest for the belated disbursement of terminal benefits, the petitioner has sent a representation on 20.10.2023. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondent herein is directed to pay 6% interest to the writ petitioner from the due date till 25.03.2023, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
