ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed by a Conductor of the respondent Transport Corporation challenging the final orders passed in the disciplinary proceedings, wherein he has been reduced in rank.
2. A perusal of the impugned order, dated 20.09.2023 clearly indicates that as against the said final order, an appeal lies to the Managing Director which has to be filed within a period of 90 days. This Court does not find any procedural irregularity in conducting the enquiry. Therefore, if the petitioner wants to agitate the punishment on merits, he has to approach the Appellate Authority, namely, the Managing Director.

3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is granted liberty to file an appeal before the Managing Director on or before 05.01.2024. In case if such an appeal is filed, the same shall be disposed of within a period of four (4) weeks thereafter.
4. With the above said observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions stand closed.
