PETITION FOR MODIFICATION Under Section 528 of BNSS PRAYER :- To modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15288 of 2025 dated 17.09.2025. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioners in Crl.O.P(MD)No.15288 of 2025, dated 17.09.2025.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is pursuing his second year of LL.B. at SMVEC Centre of Legal Education, Madagadipet, Puducherry. The distance between Madagadipet and Kalapet Police Station is about 37 kilometers. Since it is necessary for the petitioner to attend college daily, he seeks permission to report before the Thirubuvanai Police Station, Avvai Nagar (I-2).

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner has not appeared before the police even for a single day. 2/4

Considering the submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15288 of 2025 dated 17.09.2025 is modified to the effect that ''the petitioner shall report before the Inspector of Police, Thirubuvanai Police Station, Avvai Nagar (I-2), daily evening at 6.00 p.m., until further orders."

5. Accordingly, this petition is allowed.
