ORDER

The petitioner seeks the transfer of investigation in Crime No.234 of 2025 from the file of the third respondent to an independent officer within the District of Dindigul, under the supervision of the second respondent.

2.It is a case of the petitioner that the petitioner's husband died in an accident; that the fourth respondent, who was responsible for causing the death of the petitioner's husband, had given false information to the respondent police; that the case was registered in Crime No.234 of 2025 for the offences under Sections 281, 106(1) of BNS and that the petitioner's complaint has not been acted upon by the respondent police and therefore, the investigation is required to be transferred. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the investigation was concluded 2/4

and the respondent police found that the petitioner's husband was guilty of negligence and filed a report as action dropped before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Natham, on 08.10.2025 and RCS notice was also served on the fourth respondent.

4.Since the petitioner claims that the fourth respondent is liable for the accident, the respondent police shall forthwith communicate the report to the petitioner as well and it is open to the petitioner to challenge the said report in the manner known to law.

5.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
