Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.09.2025, seeking shifting of Electricity poles from the petitioner's property and also seeking disconnection of the water connection No. 082/026/901323, situated at S.F.No. 399/B, LNS Village, Karur, Karur District, within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider his representation dated 08.09.2025, seeking shifting of Electricity poles from the petitioner's property and also seeking disconnection of the water connection No. 082/026/901323, situated at S.F.No. 399/B, LNS Village, Karur, Karur District, within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. 2/5

2. Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent. Mr.K.Balasubramani, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the second respondent. Mr.S.Deenadhayalan, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the respondents 3 and 4. Since no adverse order is going to be passed as against the respondents 5 and 6, notice to them is dispensed with. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

According to the petitioner, he submitted a detailed representation on 08.09.2025 to the first respondent, which was forwarded to respondents 2 to 4, seeking shifting of the electricity poles from his property and also disconnection of the water connection. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 3 and 4 would submit that the representation of the petitioner, in respect of the shifting of the electricity poles, will be considered in accordance with law.

5. It is seen that the petitioner has sought two different reliefs in the same writ petition. Though this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition as such, considering the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for respondents 3 and 4, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents 3 and 4 are directed to consider the 3/5

petitioner's representation dated 08.09.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner as well as the respondents 5 and 6, in the light of the Civil Court decree.
