Prayer in W.P(MD)No.28808 of 2025: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents Nos.1 to 3 to prevent the respondents No.4 to 6 from laying any electric line across the petitioner's land in S.No.160 3C 3D 448/1 448/2 and 448/3 at Ponnampatty, Porunthalur Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 06.10.2025.

COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to prevent respondents 4 to 6 from laying any electric line across the petitioners' lands situated in S.No. 447/1B at Chinnarettipatty, Porunthalur Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District, and in S.Nos.160, 3C, 3D, 448/1, 448/2, and 448/3 at Ponnampatty, Porunthalur Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District, based on the petitioners' representation dated 06.10.2025.

2. On a perusal of the materials placed and upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court finds that the present writ petitions are premature in nature. The petitioners have not allowed sufficient time for the official respondents to consider and act upon the representation submitted by them. Without waiting for a reasonable period or for a decision from the authorities, the petitioners cannot allege failure on the part of the respondents to perform any statutory duty.

3. In view of the above, these writ petitions are dismissed as premature. However, the petitioners are at liberty to approach this Court again, if necessary, after affording sufficient time to the respondents to consider and act upon their representation, and if no action is taken 3/5

thereafter, in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
