ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Driver of the respondent Transport Corporation, who is on an alternative employment as a Helper.

2. This petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus to consider his representation, dated 08.12.2023, wherein he has prayed that he may be continued in the post of Helper. The petitioner apprehends that he may be compelled to work in ticket and cash section through oral orders. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner will not be able to handle ticket and cash section in view of his defect in the vision.

3. Considering the above said facts, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 2/4

08.12.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
