PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to issue direction to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.173 of 2023 dated 08.03.2023 on the file of the respondent within a stipulated period as framed by this Court.

2023 dated 08.03.2023 on the file of the respondent within a stipulated period as framed by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.173 of 2023, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 354 of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case was registered on 08.03.2023, so far no progress is made in this case.

3.Today there is no representation for the petitioner. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent would submit that within 3 months, investigation will be completed and the final report will be filed before the concerned court.

4.Recording the submission and accepting the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
