ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 3rd respondent to accord adequate police protection for the petitioner's possession of the properties in Survey No.1697/1, 1697/2, 1701/2 and 1703/1, Meelavittan Village, Thoothukudi District in the light of the order passed by the second respondent vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.Aa1/BNSS.164/2116/2025 dated 30.09.2025.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner may be directed to submit a fresh representation, based on which the police would consider providing necessary police protection in accordance with law.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either sides and carefully perused the materials placed before this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation seeking the aforesaid relief forthwith and on receipt of the same, the 3rd respondent police is directed to afford necessary police protection to the petitioner, on payment of necessary charges in terms of GO.Ms.No.139, Home (Pol-VIII) Department, dated 04.03.2019.
