ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2. Issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

2.The relief sought for in this writ petition can be granted either by the Maintenance Tribunal or by the jurisdictional Civil Court. The petitioner states that he would rather invoke the Civil Court's jurisdiction. 3.Liberty is granted. If any such suit is filed, it shall be numbered immediately provided the papers are in order. Since the petitioner is a senior citizen aged about 71 years, the Court below shall endeavour to dispose of the suit on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight months.
