PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioners RTI Appeal dated 05.12.2023 filed under Section 19(3) of the RTI Act 2005 within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this court. ORDER

After filing an appeal before the first respondent, the petitioner seeks early disposal thereof.

2.Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent. He submits that the petitioner's request would be disposed of on merits within three months.

3.In view of the limited relief claimed, it is unnecessary to issue notice to the 2nd and 3rd respondents herein. Instead, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the private respondents herein. No costs.
