O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus as against the first respondent to re-issue the passport based upon his representation dated 26.05.2023.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the second respondent submits that the criminal case is pending as against the writ petitioner in CC No.1190 of 2025 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Tirunelveli.

3. The learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent submits that the application presented by the writ petitioner has already been closed.

4. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the trial Court concerned seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case, if any such application is filed, the learned Judicial Magistrate is directed to dispose of the same within a period of four weeks. Based upon the 2/4

order passed by the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Tirunelveli, the petitioner can apply afresh to the first respondent.

5. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
