PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to issue Natham patta for my property in Survey No.312/83 (Old Survey No.312/2) to the extent of 5190 sq.ft. located at Koduvilarpatti Village, Theni District based on my representations dated 21.11.2024, 09.01.2025 and 03.02.2025 within time limit as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

By relying on registered settlement deeds dated 11.04.1994 and 18.08.2015 as also judgment and decree in O.S.No.277 of 2016 before the Sub Court, Theni, the petitioner had submitted representations seeking natham patta in respect of land in S.No.312/2 of an extent of 7268 square feet. The present writ petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader appears on behalf of all the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's request would be considered and disposed of on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In the above circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for natham patta within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and any other person concerned. No costs.
