Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to made entry on Taluk and village account against the petitioner's allotted home site issued by the 3rd respondent situated at Plot No.19 Survey No.54/1 Keezha Urappanur Village Bit-I, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 04.12.2023 made before the 2nd respondent and to effect the change in Online revenue records. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

2. The petitioner belongs to Devendira Kula Vellalar Community. She is an agricultural coolie. She was granted 2/5

assignment patta in respect of the petition mentioned site. The petitioner states that the site has been earmarked and also handed over. But then entries have not been made in the Taluk and village accounts. It is stated that unless such entries are made, the petitioner cannot avail the financial assistance under the schemes floated by the Central or State Government. This has to be done only by the second respondent. The second respondent is directed to make entries in the Taluk and village accounts and also the relevant web portal. This shall be done within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
