PRAYER:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus seeking direction to the Respondent No.1 herein to complete the appeal proceedings no.D4/3599235/2025 dated 18/07/2025 which is pending before him and pass an appropriate orders in accordance with law within a stipulated time period as prescribed by this Court and consequently direct them to give opportunity of hearing to the petitioner before passing final order. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH, J.) The petitioner seeks a mandamus directing R1 being the District Collector, Thoothukudi, to complete the appeal proceedings in D4/3599235/2025 dated 18.07.2025 in a time bound fashion.

2. We are disinclined to intervene in the case-management of an appellate authority.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that pleadings are complete before the appellate authority and all that is 2/4

required for the matter to be heard finally. If so, it is open for the petitioner to move an early hearing petition before the authority and such a petition, if and when filed, may be considered by the authority in accordance with law and subject to his roster.
