The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus forbearing respondents 4 and 6 from laying any road in the middle of the petitioner's cultivable lands comprised in S.Nos.322/16, 322/17, 322/19, 322/20, 322/26, 323/17A, 323/1A, 323/1B1 and 174/4, situated at Melavellamadam Village, Eral Taluk, Thoothukudi District. 2/5
2. The petitioner has also enclosed copies of the patta relating to the above survey numbers in Patta No.2988.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the fourth respondent, on the basis of written instructions received, submitted that no orders have been passed to lay a road in the petitioner's private patta lands comprised in the above survey numbers. It is further stated in the written instructions that certain encroachments made in Survey No.322/16 have already been removed.
4. In view of the written instructions furnished by the fourth respondent that no road will be laid in the petitioner's private patta lands, recording the same, this writ petition stands disposed of.
