2.The petitioner has lodged a complaint against the respondent for for the offence punishable under Sections 138 and 142 of Negotiable Instruments Act before the learned Judicial Magistrate, F.T.C.No.1, Madurai, which was taken cognizance in S.T.C.No.170 of 2022. Though it was taken cognizance in the year 2022, there is no progress in the trial. Hence, seeking direction for speedy disposal, this petition has been filed. 3.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the oldness of the matter, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial magistrate, F.T.C.No.I, Madurai, to expedite the trial process in S.T.C.No.170 of 2022, pending on his file and dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
