This Criminal Original petition has been filed to call for the records relating to C.C.No.371 of 2012, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukkottai and to quash the said proceedings as against the petitioners.

2.A letter dated 12.01.2018 in D.No.49 of 2018 was received from the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukkottai and it reveals that C.C.No.371 of 2012, which was required to be quashed in this petition, was disposed of on 07.07.2017 itself. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition becomes infructuous. 3.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
