Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grand 48 days of ordinary leave to the petitioners son by name Prithi @ Prithiviraj, son of Shanmugam, aged 36 years, now confining at Trichy Central Prison by considering the petitioner representation dated 16.12.2023 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court .
ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s. K.M.Karunakaran, Advocate for the Petitioner and of M/s. S. Ravi, Government Advocate for the respondents, this Court made the following order: "Today, the matter is listed under the caption 'for reporting compliance.
2. The Writ Petition was disposed of by this Court with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation seeking ordinary leave for her son, on its own merits and in accordance with law, vide order dated 22.12.2023. However, it appears that the life convict has been released prematurely on 29.12.2023 pursuant to G.O.(Ms).No.742, Home (Prison-IV) Department, dated 28.12.2023.

3. In the light of the above fact, no further orders are required in the present Writ Petition."
